Saved a box of left over bathroom tiles for 30 years :lol:
They are fantastic insulators (think Space shuttle) I have one on the stove covering a burner i don't use. If i turn the burner on by mistake it stays cool 8) And if i want a hot pot to stay hot longer, i set it on top. Or if i want a boiling hot pot on the table, i set the pot on one, and it won't burn the place mat.
Today it's 92F and my tomato plants started to wilt
So i put 3, 5x8" around the stem to deflect the heat of the sun so it should require less water (on top of mulch).
