Folks,

Has anyone dealt with Jason from Chargery recently ? My charger burned because apparently it can't be used in Power Supply mode with a BMS, and I sent it to Jason for repair some 2 months ago. I haven't heard from him since, and sent an e-mail about a week ago to check on the status... and no reply. Are they still in business, or I just lost $300 charger and another $80 shipping ?

It's not about buying... I already bought it, broke it, sent it for repairs after communicating with Jason, and never heard back in two months.

Doing this kind of support is advanced stuff to do especially if you are a one man company and also when you are dealing with a trade overseas. Warranty and repairs will be harder than going to a local store.

Track your parcel and se if it has arrived or have been picked up. Detective work, Yes but I mean if he hasn't received it implies that he can't have had the repairs started either.

Good luck

It was delivered 2 months ago according to the tracking number. I sent Jason another e-mail, but still no reply. He used to reply pretty quickly in the past, so something is off this time.

Try make a deal.

I had a failed delivery from Aliexpress, nothing for 90 days and I really wanted it asap so you can imagine. I did put up a dispute and Aliexpress denied and just auto-replied that my parcel was in transit for 3 days before taking any further action. Yes, of course it was, and the dispute was item 1, not item 2. But in the end I won the dispute. As well as giving away 21us for the person so the dispute wasn't even the total amount. I got a 2/3s back. I didn't receive neither item.

I see you are in trouble and I looked at that charger before I bought the other one I also linked. Naive. I am. So but I don't care sometimes as in the above example but really when the money piles up it affects you more.

Nobody to make the deal with. I bought the charger through US reseller on Ebay. Then when it broke, I reached out to the manufacturer (Jason) to see what can be done. In fact I also posted here on the forum in another thread, and somebody suggested "not a problem, Jason will take care of it" so I sent it back to Chargery after Jason provided shipping instructions.

I guess the only thing left to do is to dig out that other Chargery thread and let people know Jason will not in fact take care of it, so people don't fall into the same trap.

I reached out to seller on Ebay (azlithium) I bought the charger from, he sent Jason another e-mail... and I finally got a response! Jason only stated he will be shipping my charger promptly, nothing else. Will see, I guess.
