Anyone looking for a cheap 48v , 5kWh LifePo4 battery , may want to check out this deal that just cropped up on Ebay..
$649 Australian for the battery pack, 25 amp charger, and remote digital display !…with free postage !
..Yes that is Ozzie dollars, which should mean something less than US$500 American. .. before Trump Tarrifs
Obviously all Chinese, and appears “too good to be true” so beware of quality issues and the usual on line scams.
but at < $100/ KWh , it might just be worth a try .

Eve 105AH cells have been selling for $39 ea. for awhile now and the more you buy the cheaper they are. So no it's not to good to be true. This deal or any deal could be a scam though!

Yes, cells are getting cheap,…. but 16S, pre assembled with a 200amp BMS ,in a case with all connections and a 25 amp charger ??
These units normally sell for 2x+ this price .

I watch a bit of Will Prowse on YouTube and he has been amazed lately at the quality and price of these type of server rack type batteries (not too different than what they call a golf cart battery here). Both price and quality keep improving. Although not Spiderway, you can catch one of his reviews here -
