Hi Guys,

I'm looking to add regen to the kit I own (Dillenger 1000w 10Ah: http://dillenger.com.au/shop/conversion-kits/electric-bike-kit-1000w-li-ion-10ah-48v/)

I've been doing the usual search on alibaba, but its difficult to know if the company is using "regen" as a key word, or if their controller actually is a regen controller.

This is what I've found so far: (The last is a little more powerful than the wheel can probably handle, but I'd be keen to hear your thoughts anyway.)

Has anyone got any other recommendations?

Cheers!

Pretty much all motor controllers have come with regen capabilities for years. They just aren't enabled by default. And I'd wager the one that came with that kit is regen capable too, so if that's all you want, just enable it on the controller you have. Post something like How to enable regen on Dillenger controller and see what response you get. A picture of the controller and the board inside might help too.

BTW, most 1000W motors can take many times 1000W. I run mine on 100V 40A up to 4000W.

Thanks,
Will do!
