BIKE - MOPED - MOTORCYCLE :
"The Falcon’s 2-piece bottom bracket allows us to offer a variety of options, from forward, to rear-set pegs, to pedals.." clevelandcyclewerks.com

"The Falcon 01 is intended to be an affordable e-bike, although CCW says it’ll be capable of over 100 km/h if you’re using it off-road (on-road, its capabilities will be governed by your area’s transportation laws). It’s got an “e Bike” mode that restricts it to 36 km/h and an “e Moped” mode that restricts it to 48 km/h.

The Falcon BLK is intended to be a full-on street-legal motorcycle, and will have a top speed over 135 km/h.."

Please,

Even from a layman's perspective I see significant weaknesses in the frame construction. Why make an EV that tries to look like an ICE driven bike when it doesn't have any of the same limitations? I've built plenty of ugly ebikes that far outperform ICE's in real world use, so that part is easy. The trick to real success is giving the electric much more visual appeal without the crazy pricetag of so many European electric designs.

I don't think it's designed for supercross, more of a cafe or scrambler style.. should be plenty strong under those riding conditions..(frame warranty as well I'm sure;).. the unique thing about this design is the modular vehicle design approach.. for instance the bike could grow in power with the riders age, skill, license, etc.. or one vehicle could serve as three for a family.. grocery getter for mom, ebike for the teens and motorcycle for pop.. as for the aesthetics, I like naked bikes.. but I'll wait for it to be skinned before too much visual critique.. as for the price the market tends to start towards the top end so you don't end up with heavy junk.. prices then lower over time with competition, production scale, etc:) ..

Can you explain those weaknesses? I can't see them, but of course I am no experienced frame builder or skilled engineer but I like to learn about building frames. It seems to me they have used triangles to enhance strength. For me the swing arm look to be sturdy. Hard to tell from the pic but could it be that the motor and battery box acts as a stress member and provide extra stiffness and ruggedness? Is it maybe the connection between the fram and the head tube you think are less then ideal? If so how could it be improved?
