Connect brake wires to controller help one blue and black one side and two red and black the other I want to connect wire directly

I'm going to use heat shrink self soldering things too connect them but not sure which ones to connect to which ones

That might be your reverse your plugging into

I only see two wires there. The two blue wires go to the black and the red wires go to blue.
I would recommend using an ohmmeter to measure between the blue and red wires and see if you get continuity when you pull the brake levers just to verify.
