Here is what I got and here is what I am trying to do. I got a fat tire build with 20s 4p 26650 cells. The BMS is 40a continuous 120a peak.
The motor is a Mxus V3 3000w- 5000w 4T. I am on my third no good controller. Don't ask. I am currently running it on a Luna Cycle 72v 40a
Cyclone controller. I bought their 60a programmable version but I cannot get any power to phase wires. It seems the throttle signal
is shorting. The bike works fine on the 40a controller I swapped off another bike I have. Here is why I need a 60a or 80a controller.

Here is what I want the bike to do. I am in Florida and I am trying to design an off road bike for hunting. We have mud bogs on the trails
up to two feet deep ( deep as you want if you want to sink the bike ) and sugar sand patches that take a lot of power to plow thru.
The 40a controller does fine except thru these short power stretches that need a more powerful controller for short bursts. I thought
the Luna 60a controller would do it. I am not an electrical engineer wizard and me and an electric bike shop guy said something is wrong
with the controller. I am taking it to an electronics repair guy but I do not have high hopes. It is probably repairable for some of you guys
but for me I need a new controller most likely. RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE KELLY CONTROLLERS ? Let me know . Thanks

Your style of riding needs a temperature probe in the motor to shut it down so you don't a melted in mud and sand or slow speed lugging the motor will melt it. So you will need a C.A. to shut it off for overheating.

Thank you for the reply

The Kelly Controller KLS7218S has configurable motor temperature range (4) and the motor has a white wire for temp probe.

This should be OK for my needs without the need for a cycle analyst correct ?

I am trying to get some feedback on a suggested controller.

Thank you

Jack
