Could the earth be flat?

'Earth Derangement syndrome.' 'Trump Derangement syndrome.' 'Critical Race Theory Derangement syndrome.' It all stems from the SAME human nature. It's just the way they go about expressing it.

The 'Lunar Landing Derangement syndrome' types used to go to hear Neil Armstrong speak for the excitement of DISRUPTING his speech. One of them posted a video on YouTube of him getting up in Armstrong's face spewing foolish accusations, which including his ecstatic recounting of his rude, foolish behavior to his fellow culties.

If you ever find proof that, what do you know, the Earth IS flat, will they be happy? No, they'll feel a great sense of loss. They'll be disappointed at being proven right because they lived for being wrong and pretending they can debunk it. Just as the 'Rest of Us are not Left Wing Derangement Syndrome' types just become more energized when they're proven wrong.

Derangement syndrome is a substitute for religion. It's a very apologetic faith, they enjoy studying responses to what people that know better say, as in this video they have their bible and their things they say. They have their priests, their apostles, their faithful. These are disorganized minds that somehow have the organization of their particular derangement imprinted on them and AT LAST they know something. . . .

Yeah, that was classic. Telling one of those guys who were brave enough to sit on top of a rocket that he didn't go to the moon got that guy exactly what he deserved.
 
Joe Rogan was a disbeliever but he turned the corner. He makes some good comments on how some of the photo's were faked for promotional reasons because they didnt have real photography at the time perhaps before the launch. He's even found the original photos that were reversed. He's repeated that statement several times on his podcasts with various guests and it makes sense.

While I wouldn't doubt that they arranged fake pics and video as backup in case they didn't make it to the moon, but it wasn't necessary. The Russians would have been screaming that it was faked. AFAIC anyone who claims our astronauts didn't walk on the moon is an idiot (not on the same level as the flat earthers but quite similar), so that's a serious strike against Joe Rogan.

I just have to say I don't find DOUBTING the moon landing to be so bad, but feeling it's proven false is ridiculous. My Dad had his own small role in the space race, boy would HE get mad when that came up. When I was a kid I always felt like reminding him 'But you weren't actually THERE when they landed. . . .' but there was this temper involved.

Ain't flat locally for me, north Orange County has a lot of rolling hills. My neighborhood is Golden Hills, nearby is Laguna Hills, Coyote Hills, Sunny Hills.

Seriously? I regret posting on this thread, and this is exactly why. How is this still a topic of discussion? Why does anyone take this garbage seriously? I have a guess: the need to feel special. Well if you think this topic is valid at all for consideration, you, sir, are "special" (referring to anyone who takes flat earth topic seriously, not anyone in particular).
 
For all the flat earth believers

If the earth is flat or disk-like, then whats the thickness and are all planets the same thickness, and are all planets the same diameter, and how far are all the planets from each other, why would the planets always be facing earth in the same manner, why arent there any planets facing edgewise.
 
Ah you make good points, whats on the other side of the disk, is there an atmosphere on the other side, or better yet are there aliens on the other side. Why hasnt the edge of the disk been found, is that a conspiracy as well?

On the one hand I'm tempted to think there are these world travellers we cannot trust. THEY would have had to have flipped over that edge to the other side and never told us, letting us believe the world is round when they knew otherwise all along.

But then I think of how we've all seen world maps that are flat. Our whole know world could be on one side.

What's on the other side? A parallel earth?

But if the earth is flat, does that mean the stars and the planets are flat? Are we only seeing those that have the flat side facing us? Think of all those edges that might be staring us in the face but we can't make them out.
 
Yes, they believe everything is a disk, including a disk universe. But its funny how nothing natural grows flat disk like.
Plus aint it funny how everything in the sky is disk like yet facing all facing earth and you cant see the disk from its side then you can judge how thick the disks are out there.
