Anybody know an alternate source for a frame similar in style to the low “crank forward” , cruise type of frame similar to the “Day6” style ?

Battery location would be a bonus.
FYI. Day6 do not have agents in Australia, and shipping is extortionate ! :(

I would be hard pressed not to swap out that seat for a highback executive leather office chair.

Electra Townie is pretty laid back though not as laid back as that.

I had a Park Momentum (similar to a Townie) that had the pedal forward design. It was the most comfortable bike I ever owned. That design really makes a big difference in comfort and the way a bike fits your body. It's easier and more natural to put your leverage on the cranks too. Cruisers don't always have that style, just the more upright seating position. I'd love to own that bike in your post. With the higher H-bars, pedal forward frame and the comfy seat w/ a back, it must be a lot of fun to ride.

Unfortunately, it appears the bike above is sold out. They're showing a suggested price (if you can find one) for $1600, which is too much for me. I'd rather just buy a Townie or Momentum and put that seat on it for a fraction of the cost. This one's a few years old, but it's similar to the Behemoth and it only ran around $400 when new.

You could put front suspension on The Townie, Momentum and Fuji bikes, but if you tried that w/ the Behemoth you would totally change the front rake since theirs is cambered forward. There's an electric version of the Behemoth, but they want nearly $4,000 for it!!! That's just crazy.
