I built a Santana and a Cannondale etandem with the same new Crystalyte kits. Hard to find Crystalyte cruise control included. We love the results, but don't need 2. In San Diego.

That bike should be of interest not only to tandemists, but also to folks who want a longtail cargo bike. How many large touring panniers can fit on there? I'm guessing eight, plus a big handlebar bag and rack top trunk. With custom luggage, there are even more possibilities.

My own Crystalyte 5305 front hub and controller have been chugging along faultlessly since 2003. I've replaced crusty plugs, but that's about all. It still makes the best sci-fi sounds of any e-bike I've had.
