Crystalyte hs-3540 motor destroyed

Oh, language barrier :) Let me clarify;

I mean to climb up grades which are 5% or higher.

48v on a HS will run the motor at just around 30mph. That's within the safe zone for that motor, unless you are trying to do something like scale >5% grades for extended periods of time. On the flats, that motor can push a decent amount of continuous power.

Do check out the ebikes.ca simulator.

Woow it's faster then my Magic Pie 3, max speed is 40 km/h at 48V.
You own a Magic Pie 3 right?

How is the motor doing?

I owned a magic pie 2 for a short period of time, but no longer do.
In a 20" wheel, it was astoundingly fast. I could never take full advantage of it's power because it would wheelie from a stall.
Yes, the HS is faster but has less torque. The magic pies are a high torque, slow speed wind.

Put the HS in a 24" wheel or smaller and it should be rather quick.

Enough newtons to make a >110kg rider fall backwards the first time i put 1500w peak into it :lol:

You can see more details in my signature link to the magic pie build.
