Custom Brushless Controller on e Scooter

Hi everyone,

I'm a Scooter noob and need some assistance. My Hover 1 Gambit's controller died and I bought a generic one off ebay. I've been Googling all night to figure out how to wire this thing, but I'm lost. I have two connectors coming out of the front of the scooter. One I'm assuming is a Hall sensor brake (3 wire) and the other is the LCD display. How do I wire this up to the generic controller.

I'm assuming from the 5 wire plug
Ground Black
Red +5V
Yellow Throttle
Blue (TX or RX)
Light Blue (TX or RX)

3 wire plug
Orange
White
Brown
some combination of ground, +5, +5

Unfortunately, the controller only has a mechanical brake, probably a +5 and ground only (Black and blue wire on the controller)
