Posting for my friend who is retiring from his career as a machinist and selling off his old tools and projects.

Four prototype trikes in various states of completion. Each was complete and working at some point, but all have been partially disassembled and sitting in storage for several years. Some parts were transferred from one design to the next, so it won't be possible to fully assemble all four without buying or fabricating new parts. Many clever design details, including several different suspension linkages and steering linkages, paired with excellent quality machining. You will be amazed at the details accomplished with only the use of a manual milling machine. Some additional photos near the bottom of this page: built | the sphere of oz

Trike 1: leaning tadpole rear steer
Trike 2: delta with rack-and-pinion steering via cable
Trike 3: tadpole with underseat steering and aluminum leaf spring front suspension
Trike 4: delta with 9C front hub motor, Infineon controller, and lead acid batteries
Includes several good quality non-electric wheels, four Avid hydraulic disc brakes, two Fox air shocks, and all the other bike parts (tires, chains, derailleurs, cassettes, etc.) seen in the photos plus even more than I didn't get photos of.

Currently located in Lynnwood, WA, USA (just north of Seattle). Willing to ship at buyer's expense (will require truck freight, or further disassembly to pack in multiple boxes). He would like to get $800 for all. It's a hard thing to price since it represents well over $800 in parts and materials, not to mention hundreds of hours of expert design and fabrication work. However, we know it will take a special person to take the initiative to continue the work on these projects, so all offers will be considered.

They look amazing...I love the work put into them. (you can pass that on to the builder for me).

I can imagine combining some parts of these for a new version of my own SB Cruiser trike, but I couldn't afford them or their shipping, and until I finish the Snuggles The Wolf robotics project (someday), I wouldn't have the time to work on it even if I had the money.
