I just built my first electric bike:
Dahon Mu xl- 20" folder
Ezee 400w front hub kit from ebikes.ca
stock 20 amp controller
37 V 9 Amp-hour Lithium-Manganese battery
Need to get:
CA
Lights
bigger battery
Overall- I love it. I need more range so I will get a bigger battery as soon as I figure out what I need.
I work on the net so I can live anywhere. I spend 6 months in seattle and 6 months in Tucson- this means I need to deal with wet weather AND heat. BTW, my bike fits in a suitcase so I can check it on the airlines. I will need a second bag now that I have electrified it b/c the battery and hub will make it overweight. If I fly southwest, I can take the whole thing back and forth free.
