De-Solder braid vs. Solder Removal Tool

I have never used the Solder Removal Tool, I've only ever used De-Solder Braid.
Do the Solder Removal Tools work good. Which one is better, braid or tool?

This is the one I've been looking at

I've used both depending on the how much solder I need to remove.
I have a cheap radio shack one and it works great just need to add more solder to help it suck.
Its spring loaded with a trigger. Once you add more solder to allow the old solder to move like liquid you just place the tip near it and press the trigger. A pop sound and up goes the solder.
Then remove the wire and clean up the area with some braid.

They have different applications. Wick is for mopping up solder fillets & flat work.
The "sucker" tools are for clearing through holes of solder that can be dificult with braid.
