This going to be awesome! Can't wait to see it. I've always wanted some disc brakes but haven't implemented them. I'd like to run them with/on an electric longboard. Similar to the disc brakes on brakeboard.

Definitely finish this project and let us know how you actually activate the brakes.

This is looking great. Super neat and tidy. I guess you need a good strong servo? Do you think the wheels will lock up easily?

Pretty sick! They are quite bulky but great job! Nice implementation from an RC car disc brake. Speaking of... someone should definitely design disc brakes like the brakeboard. I would totally enjoy that! Would be cool to have a diagonal motor setup + brakes on the other diagonal wheels with the rear brake setting similar to brakeboard. Although, I guess they aren't too expensive.

Yes that would be best!! But why would you like to activate the brakes by stepping on it rather than via the transmitter? I think that's best about the baja brakes, to be able to use them just like we activated motor braking.

True better on the controller but its bulky but ya through servo def better just drop the size and its golden. Sick either way tho jus implementing it to eboards.
