For my 1967 wooden Boat which I fully reworked, I have designed and built an outboard engine. It is a 85165 fully waterproof BL Innerrunner, capable of 18Kw (according to the maker) As I can run only 4,4Kw becuase of local laws, it will be a long lasing motor I hope. I am running it on a 14S1P LiIon battery with 218Ah. The BMS can handle 150A. Hope to have it in the water soon.
In the beginning I was thinking of a puller prop configuration, as in my opinion the puller prop has better efficency than a pusher. Any opinions about that?
