Hello folks, I wanted to share you my affordable wind turbine project.
Technical part:
Velectris Phsntom hub motor (tested with 20A continuous, didnt get even warm).
3x pcs of chinese 85cm grp blades

Laser cut 6mm aluminium adapter plates (drawings available if needed),
20mm MTB through axle hub with dual disc mounts - ideal for vertical axis.
Plywood tail.

Can you post rpm/voltage curves ?
Horizontal wind turbines operates between 100 and 200 RPMs
Im working in similar project. I will use ebike controller in regen mode in order to obtain regulated DC voltage (48 V in my case)
Regards

I tested my turbine today, with 6m/s (much stronger gusts) wind.
As I didnt have tachometer handy, I dont have any RPM info.
But, with those winds, maximum vas 84V without load. It was quite scary as the turbine was mounted to concert speaker stand on the roof and I was standing behind it. With strong gusts, it really gained some speed and I wasnt fond of being hit with blade :D
Also, I tried braking it down by shorting output. Works quite well, the generator had enough braking to stall blades at any speed.

Lovely build. Is that hub geared or direct drive?

If you are getting too many volts in high wind, and you think you'll build another one day then you might consider adding five or seven blades. The more blades you add, the better it will start in low wind and the slower it will go in high wind.
Hope to see another update soon. This is great.
