if i could find this bike around $700, i would definitely buy it, it retails for $400 to $500 but you have to buy at least 20...

http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/electric-beach-cruiser-bike-electric-bicycle_1974209524.html

it's available with dual disc brakes, 6 speeds, lockable 48v 10ah seat post Li-ion battery, 500w rear bafang hub, and pedal assist...

Anybody know where i can find this bike?

Anybody ever buy something on alibaba?

I haven't seen that model, but there are plenty like it. You aren't going to find it for $700 though. Minimum order is for 20, but the cheap price they list is likely only for orders of many thousands. Those aren't retail prices, those are wholesale prices. Also, by the time you pay to have them packed and shipped, and pay taxes and fees to get them through customs, you can expect to add a few hundred onto the price of each bike. And finally, the vendor will have costs and expenses of his own, plus need to make enough profit on each bike to make it worth wild. So you're looking at a bike that will retail at probably ~$1500, +/-$200

Here's a buyers heads-up: you might talk them down to 10 units ($700 X 10 = $7,000). Then...there's the shipping.

They will quote you one price...and then after they feel you are emotionally connected to the deal? They will say they have had problems with the shipper, and now they need a few extra bucks. You reluctantly agree, then...they tell you the new shipper they lined up will take much longer than the initial quote (they knew this all along). After a few emails (if you are really interested, you will keep emailing, right?) they let you know that "for a small extra charge", they can move your shipment closer to the front of the line.

If you do buy 10 of them, I would use two of them for parts to fix warranty issues until you have a better idea about the reliability of the bikes from that particular factory/wholesaler.

These have already been talked about:

Looks similar (anyone who notices that it's not identical, please respond with the differences; we really need to know) to 2014 Motiv cruiser which my local dealer sold for $1700 or so, higher priced with a 36/15 or 48/10 battery instead of the stock 36/10.

from the pic i found of the motiv cruiser, its a very different bike, what i like a lot about the one from alibaba is how long and low it is... here's both bikes...

I have no idea what the price is but there are sellers on Alibaba that will sell only one. here is the same bike but in a different color scheme from 2 different sellers that have a minimum purchase of only 1:

Chang zhou merrygold has both the fat bike version and the regular cruiser version and they list the price at $700 to $800 but to ship only one, I am sure it will be an arm and a leg.

It probably will be more than you budget though but if you find out, please let us know.
