Hi there. I've installed a voltage meter like EVmadrid uses on some of his packs. I'm running mine on the handle bars cause I don't use a BMS and I'm also pulling power off the wire for a front light.

Anyhow I'm wanting to change the default setup to volts instead of percentage but it doesn't seem to change.
The instructions I found online which weren't delivered with the unit weren't very helpful. I managed to program the right cell count but if I try to bridge the contacts I'm pointing to in the pic with solder I get no change in the way it functions. What am I doing wrong here? I'm assuming you just solder a bridge between the two adjacent pads to get the desired change.

Also, I've read if I install a small piezo buzzer in the top right corner it will sound alarm when it reaches low voltage. I wonder what voltage piezo I should get? most only go from 3-14v. Is that ok or should I use the battery voltage and spec a buzzer that is capable up to 30v?

here's a link to EVmadrid's video perhaps you can see any difference in the one he uses and the one I bought which might explain. There appears to be a component next to the solder pads I pointed to which mine don't have.

Mine is the top pic and you can see on the lower one next to the Fn 1-fn 6 solder pads a six small black components which appear to be missing on mine. Can anyone shed some light on the function of those missing components and explain if that is the reason im getting no change when I bridge the function F1-F6 solder pads?
