I have a Chinese company emotorbike made in India by the brand name Kabira Mobility model KM3000. It's 72v to 12v buck converter became short blowing the display panel. Luckily only the power supply stage of the display panel blew. I disconnected the 12v to 5v section and gave external 5V. The display power on, does like a self test(0 to max rpm than 0, speed 0 to max and back to zero,mode/gear indicator R,P,1,2,3 and back). This was the normal behaviour but now it's going in a loop. Powering on, self test,power down, powering on again and so on.
How to solve the problem. Manufacturer is saying buy new display.
The display panel is using 1WT (1 wire technology) to communicate/ display rpm. How to read the data using Arduino.
The bike has a CAN connection that is only connected to the battery pack.
