I’m having an issue with one of my Ansmann e-bike batteries and could use some advice.
I have two Ansmann e-bike batteries, both new, but one of them is not working correctly:
- Battery 1: This battery shows 36V across both the positive (1st and 2nd pins) and negative pins and works perfectly with my e-bike.
- Battery 2: This battery only shows 36V on the 1st positive pin and the negative pin. I do not see any voltage on the 2nd positive pin. As a result, this battery does not power the bike, even though it used to work fine before. The issue seems to occur when 36V is present only on the 1st positive pin.
- The problematic battery was functioning correctly before, but now the e-bike display won’t turn on when using it. This is same issue with any new compatible battery
- I’ve replaced the controller and display with new parts and tested the bike with two new compatible batteries, yet the issue persists.
- How can I troubleshoot this problem further? Are there any specific tests or measurements I should try?
- Could this issue be related to the e-bike’s wiring, even though I’ve replaced the controller and display? Is there any way to repair the battery or resolve the wiring issue?
