I guess you guys were right..it takes me about 8 seconds to get up to 40-45 mph at 22 amps not 4 or 5 seconds

Well, when you actually keep track of seconds and accel, I think there are surprises in general. Ebikes, to me, feeling so light compared to Motorcycles, feel faster than they are some times. But when you actually track your data, some times there are some surprises. When Allex posted his 0-50KPH or 0-31MPH at 2 seconds, I had to take try it out on the my old Bomber. WIth the 5405 laced to an 18MC rim running the SR241 with an OD of 24.2 inches, it took 4 seconds for me to get to 30MPH at 5.3kw peak. I was surprised I was only half as fast as Allex with his Max E. Then I checked the Fighter, another second slower, funny though my Fighter feels quicker. I think thats because it 40# lighter than the Bomber.

Mines 160 which is plenty for the cromotor. Still plenty of room for spacers. The crystalyte 54 series need a wider dropout (165mm}.

I am not a Phasor owner, but if you want a high powered machine and plan on riding offroad, and you are heavy, may want to consider a 19x1.4 MC rim and rear tire combo. The 19 size MC wheel is identical in size to a 24MTB wheel.

Swede, by virtue of mechanical leverage, the 24MTB will put more power to the ground than the 26MTB, radial difference between these two sized tires running 24x3 Razorback and 26x3 Razorback tires is 1 inch, or 2.54cm or 25.4mm. If you ran either tire front and rear, the height of your machine would only be 1 inch difference. With MTB tires on ebikes, the advantage of the 24MTB is more performance given same volt/dc amp input, the advantage of the 26MTB is a huge tire selection. Some people will tell you that the 26MTB rolls over stuff better than the 24MTB, which is should by virtue of larger diameter, but I can't tell enough of a difference between a 24MTB and 26MTB to say that that advantage justifies going with a 26 over a 24. But what does justify it to me is the tire selection options out there for a 26MTB. If maximum performance is your goal, go with the 24, if tire selection is your goal, go with the 26. I know that pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of these two sizes doesn't really answer your question does it?

am looking for 50/50 off road tire . i know that 24 will get me better performance but what i want to konw is if 24 or 26 is better for my lenght?
i would rather have 24 for the performance but 26`s will make the bike higher

I CAN PROBABLY get up to that speed a bit quicker if I were to jam the throttle down but I do not think its good for the bike like to ease it up

depending on the price & availability of the DP made kickstand..
one could probably adapt a swingarm mounted motorcycle or moped kickstand as well..

well the kickstand that is custom made by David for the frame is more expensiv but it will be more of a Clean looking stand..
but i have to wait for 2 weeks for a pic on the stand..

wow... I know I had seen the numbers, but I didn't realize how massive this thing is. I'm pretty sure its heavier than my entire road bike just for the motor. Hopefully I haven't over motored myself and it feels better when its sitting on the bike, but this motor is serious business. one step closer, controller comes next

Yah pretty big huh. 25+ pound hub is serious business. Wait until you start pushing some current through it Yah its heavier than your entire road bike, no, you haven't overmotored your build, I think you go things exactly as it should be. can't wait to see your build.

I concur Mr. Wing, I just got mine too. Massive, is an understatement! I thought the my Crown T80 was big. MC rim is a must, I already ordered a 19 inch Play bike rim (black) and shipped the beast off to Volt rider in Missouri. I bet it weighs over 25 lbs. Great fishing trip!
