Anytime anyone ax if my bike is electric I tell them 'drum brakes', & fer gawds sake people, don't be talkin to reporters or going to the polis to clock the speed of the thing, that's just beggin for more prohibition in the future, possibly even registering.
I remember what happened with electric kick-scooters in my neck of the woods: Dumbasses made illegal motorcycles out of them, put videos of that on the intarwebs and such. When they started killing people it hit the news and shit happened. Seems like nearly overnite electric kick-scooters disappeared completely from the streets.

I actually told a judge in family court this one (about my ex)

"insanity is when you do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result each time."

I don't know the origin.

I don't know the origin.

But ABSOLUTE insanity is doing the same thing over and over, knowing the result is gonna suck real bad, but doing it anyway!

Been There, Done That, burned the t-shirt!

There is a fine line between genius and insanity

I dunno, EMF. If you think about it, they're almost polar opposites: Craig won't tell you how to do something that works, Safe will tell you how to do something that doesn't work. :p
...and both will do so.... endlessly.

Scene: Summer, Al Gore in a park, ebikes whisking past the background

GORE: "Put a Ping in the triangle... More power, longer duration, less sag..."

Camera: pan, follow-focus ebikes, slow and re-focus on Bob Dole & wife seated in foreground

DOLE: "BobDole can get behind that..."

lets hope he doesn't get embarrassed into changing the title the way the voicecoil did.
After I quoted his thread title here, he altered it from originally 'voicecoils Red Rigid' to 'voicecoils fully erect Red Rigid', or something like that.

so in the event should anything disappear, this response taken from the same thread.

I put the Ping in the triangle,... My triangle is small, it fit tight, so I had to mount it lenthwise,... It is a little wide though.

I love this mount as balance is good...

I also wrapped the Ping to protect it. More duct tape and old inner tubes to absorb impact. Then I wrapped the triangle in a blanket to protect it from view. I really prefer the triangle mount for balance and the rack is needed for
cargo anyway.
I could upload a pic if I figure out how.

duct tape & inner tubes eh?
the perfect example of necessity being the mother of invention.
or is it more an illustration of where the rubber meets the road?

hey, 'Durben',

Maybe it's just me but I thought that this statement makes the perfect ad-copy for underpowered ebikes. Selling a defeceit as a feature.

What is a boreing speed the scenery makes up for.

I hope all yoos peebles in the EU & Au can take some comfort in those profound words the next time you curse your 15 mph lot in life.

Slow down & smell the roses.
When I slow down too much I tend more to smell my toes-es.
Need newer Odor Eaters, or posies, or both. Or more speed. Or just another well-rolled joint? I scent cents:
the cost of flying high on $$$ batteries v. the cost of bud, buds.

I must admit i do not know everything there is to need to know about electronics so i have to rely on others for help (hence why i will choose a kit rather than attempting to design).

There is a "percentage" of Phostech powder used in the Gray Cells. What percentage is a LiFeBATT trade secret. End of comment on that. If you want to push that issue you have to know that probably no Phostech Licensee uses 100% Phostech powder in their cells. And nobody will ever prove that they do or do not.
Now *that's* how to inspire confidence in a product....

...sure makes me want to rush out and pay double for the stuff.

Added value in the customer service.
