Easy Ride mid drive from Austria

planetary gear on 3200 watts rig? how does that work exactly? will it survive 50-60 kph? how come they can get a way with the same old brace as L-R and not have bent sideways ?

the battery and controller are included, if you want to compare them to L-R you need to remove those.

I did
Still much more expensive...2300 euros is almost 3000 u.s.

2399 is with a 13ah battery, are you saying a battery will cost 99 euros?

Hi,

Here a new and very smart and cheap 3kw mid drive system made in Austria

It does seem cheaper then an Ego kit, but it looks like basically a cheap knock off version of the EGO using the exact same cyclone motor and just a better mounting kit and some battery hardware. But yeah i woudln't call it cheap. A better bang for buck then Cyclone type kit at that price is the AFT , with all its EMAX upgrades to the motor ceramic bearings and oil filled gearbox, also its in AUD which is cheaper then USD :

That's a good point, you need to add the cost of the controller and Battery but also don't forget 2 separates postage's for the controller and battery otherwise you are comparing apple and oranges all these little things add up. Has anyone actually tried one of these flowride kits ? any build threads ?

if this is a cyclone motor (how can you even see the motor?) then i don't see any heatsinks for fins coming out of it, which definitely bets the question of 3200 watts. i have doubts even about the AFT itself because they grew all cooling apparatus on the motor.

I wasnt getting specific..so 2399 makes it even more expensive then
How much would a battery and controller be...800-1000 ??
So 2000 to 2200 u.s.ROUGHLY for a motor??

They use 18650 cells (you can choose sony vtc or samsung) an no RC Lipobags wich is again the apple <==> orange issue not just cycle also pricewise.

How much is a 14ah battery with the more expensive 18650 batteries??

I'm pretty sure that the motor is different to the the cyclone, still the same constructive principals.

here a link to the quite expensive "Torcman" Motor
http://www.greenroad.at/shop/CPD-Motor

You can see clearly on this link:
http://eazy-ride.com/media/custom-rides/

on the KHS 27.5 bike which is the only photo from the other side of the motor that it has the cyclone gearbox, and 4 bolt holes hence no match to the Torcman motor. It also looks to even have cyclone crank arms !

The cyclones generally seem to be ok when the brackets mount using both sides of the BB and the down tube. So the AFT, EGO, this kit and the rock solid engines one.

The LR kit is a bit of a monster though.

That terrible "oro" throttle = 100% cyclone

I've been running my aft mid drive hard and no issues. Hit 3200 and 3400 watts last couple rides.

Hello
i think the price is okay.
The mountig system is a very good inovation - its removeable
The price is much lower than the price of a Ego Kid.
The torcman CPD is the next step - but the power is too high for an normal ebike, so we start with the flow kit.
In spring the system the CPD is ready for Ebike market - we have to reduce the power. (torque curve)
we started to introduce the cpd at this bike http://www.greenroad.at/shop/Elduro-Bikes
