Ebike battery fuse blowing out every time I plug in the charger. when the charger is not plugged into the battery it reads 54 volts, but then quickly drops down to 0.6 volts.the light stays solid red and green, rather it is plugged into the battery or not. does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to charge my battery do I need a new charger or battery?plz help me out!

It sounds like the BMS on your battery pack has failed or is protecting the pack that has failed cells.

I don't get out much, but don't know of too many batteries other than this style having both a charge and a discharge fuse. Suggest you give more info about the bike and its battery.

Are you talking about a little 3 amp charge fuse, or a big 30-40 amp output that blows up? If it's the charge fuse, I would say the charger output is shorted out. You're not supposed to get much current coming out of the battery's charge socket. Try measuring the output of the charger plug when it's not plugged into the battery.

By the way, what light is staying both solidly green and red? Can't be both colors.
