Planning the next ebike build now. It will be a higher power build, likely on a Flux frame whenever they become available.

Trying to choose a nice hydraulic brake combo. Thinking Shimano Zee set.. just not sure about levers. Would really like to have brake levers with motor cut offs embedded in them.... It would be ideal not to have to 'DIY' the cut offs. Shimano Zee look to be an affordable 4 pot option. Alternatives were Magura or Shimano Saint. Aware Magura have an inline sensor option... but would rather the levers themselves have a tidy reed switch/hall sensor within them.

Any ideas of what levers will pair well and have built in cut offs?

(BTW perfectly aware of how to add reed switches/hall sensors to any lever - would rather have them already if I'm going to buy levers anyway).

Tektro Auriga E Comp also have switches in them. You can get them from German Ebay or here, or use Google:

I've had a bit of a look at Tektro's website for various options. http://www.tektro.com/_english/01_products/00_bikeslist.php?pid=2

None of which appear to be multiple piston calipers (welcome to correct me), which is what I was looking for...

It's really looking like Shimano Zee + reed switch will have to be the way.

Your brake levers are for mechanical brakes - no good to me.

Shimano brakes are significantly cheaper (from what I can work out) for four pot brakes. Shimano + reed switch it is.

Pad and ongoing parts are likely to be cheaper than Magura going forward as well.
