I've had this motor for about a year and a couple weeks ago it kicked out of the dropouts and sent me over the handlebars. I've repaired the bike but now it makes a metal on metal rubbing sound whenever the torque gets high enough. It also does the noise very faintly when turning the tire in reverse by hand, but the noise is most noticeable when riding and accelerating quickly. I believe it could be a bearing or perhaps one of the magnets got loose.
I've heard bearing replacements can be a lot easier than tearing apart the whole motor, and was wondering if anyone has the same motor and could tell me if this is the case? Also if anyone knows of a bearing replacement video for a hub motor that would be greatly appreciated.
Also if anyone would have anymore information on what this motor is specifically, such as if its a generic chinese motor so I could find more information about it? EBLG18100401 - 1200 is the model number off the motor, but I suspect that's an ebikling serial number.
