I decide to open it before putting on ebike.
surprise: 1 capacitor is already explosed.
why ? this is an 63v instead of an 100V.
let be positive: they haved tested it before sending :p
I cannot believed that an electrolytique capacitor can blow discretly.
the electrolyte was vaporised on pcb, some component is corroded.

hello jc.maquet ,I am very very sorry ,this is i mistook the 470uf/100v with 1000uf/63v capacitors , if you agreed , i will send a new controller to you by express post (3~5 business days arrive to your door) ,I am sorry to cause you any inconvenience .

hello Keywin,

thanks for your quick reply, I will be happy with a new controleur.
I will let know here when received.

thank again

JC

Keywin is very sorry!

He is beating himself silly.

He will send you a NEW (correct) controller.
I just asked him to throw in three FREE 100v1000uf caps also.

That way you can fix the first one if you want.

thanks Knuckles,

Good idee to have a spare controller because I want to make some adaptation and a mistake can happen quickly.

I wanted to add a pot to decrease the current limiting easily when ridding for long trip.
I have read somewhere here (?) there is one resistor to adapt.
but I need also to reprogram de controleur for low current.
is it possible to have the factory setting of this controler to change only the current parameter ? (I thing it is not possible to read the ship infomation)

thanks

JC
