Hi all,
Sorry if this question has been repeated a few times, I can't say I've seen the bike I'm interested in on here anywhere, so just wondering if I can get some opinions on the bike below vs building my own, I've owned the bbshd and currently have an Edge 1500w running around 4000w, I carry the lipos in my backpack which can get a little tiresome so I'm looking to build an enduro.
I really like the look of this bike which is just based off the EEB frame, I could buy that for $4400 including shipping or if I was to build my own bike it would come to possibly a similar price and look something like this
em3ev (frame not in stock)
-----
(EEB frame / DNM8 front fork / RCP3 rear shock / seat+post / chainring / pedals / crankset / kickstand / chain / stem / handlebars / freewheel / discs / 72v battery 29.5Ah 30Q)
So all that comes to about $2348 not including shipping which to my country will likely be another $500 at least, so lets just go with $2848 for now.
Then for the wheels & controller etc I'd be looking at this QS205 package which is $894 including shipping.
So I'm already at around $3700 and I'd still need to get this stuff to make it equivalent to the complete bike
(front+rear light / charger / brakes / display / derailieur / tyres&tubes)
My question, do you think the complete package bike is worth a look at? or is that a crap package and I'm better off going down the build your own path.
I'm fully open to using different parts but for now its easier just linking to these. The last option is I use my edge motor in the build and just upgrade the controller to eek out some watts, its only a 12fet.
Appreciate any feedback anyone has on the topic!
