Hello all,
I’d like to apologise for not introducing myself in the newby thread but I am a
Desperate man. I’ve tried everywhere to get an answer to this and have had no
Joy anywhere….well here goes……
I’ve just acquired an electric bike (powacycle Milan) original not the (2)
Everything works well except: the 3 nylon sprockets located in the rear
Hub that are connected to the motor and drive the rear wheel.
All 3 have shredded all their teeth and obviously are just slipping and not driving
So they need to be replaced.
Q1: Can I get replacement nylon sprockets?
Q2: If not, can I get a new motor? which will obviously come with the sprockets
Q3: And if any of the above is possible? Can someone tell me where? And what
Sort of money I can expect to pay?
Q4: Would the more modern (powacycle Salisbury or Windsor) motor be compatible? Or does anyone know of another?
I live in England, East Anglia
I believe the specs for the motor are: 24 volt, 200w and battery: 8AH Ni-Mh?
Many thanks in advance for any advice
