Hi All

Just putting it out there to the Brisbane electric bike community. I had my pride and joy stolen last night from under my house in Windsor.
They took my bike, helmet and gloves but missed the charger. Only just finished building it and only had 70Kms on the clock. I invested a lot of time, energy and love into this bikle and cant believe it is gone. In case someone sees/hears anything or sees sus parts for sale please PM me.
Description and pics below.

  • Raceline Mountain bikle 26' frame
    Marvic front wheel
    Crystalite rear hub motor
EM3EV triangular Samsung 55v battery pack
    Cycle Analyst
    Disk brakes
    Suntour forks
Infineon 9fet Lian edtion 309 board

Thanks in advance

Laz

That's very sad to hear Laz.
I was going to ask you soon how the new motor was going, it would have been a great setup along with that awesome battery.
If you look closely there were some very distinguishing features on your bike that would be easy to spot, especially to those of us in the know.
I wish you the best of luck in getting it back.

if you are on good terms with the local ebike shops then they may be able to tell you if someone comes in looking to buy a charger for the battery. maybe put up a posting on your local CL asking to buy a ebike and offer good money so maybe their greed will suck them into your grip. put something in the ad to indicate you live in a different location and will only be in town for a visit sorta thing.

Thanks for all the support guys. Much appreciated. It would be nice to think it will make its way back to me.

Man that sucks, will keep an eye out for you.

Gee bad luck, looks like a nice one, did you have locked up?
If I were you I would remove details on the battery, hopefully the bastards have no idea how to charge it.
Then what you should do is put an add up for a "xxx E3MV charger" for sale on ebay and see if you get any bites, theres a more then reasonable chance the type of idiots who did this are looking to sell it to someone unsuspecting with a story that the owner had to quickly sell it due to debts etc but its missing a charger.

they will use some lame excuse like blaming some rotten girlfriend who stole their charger in revenge when she dumped him.

thieves always wanna play up how hard luck their life is and expect your sympathy will cover common sense. or tell you they don't have the bill of sale from when they bot it because some evil landlord stole all of their possessions.

in the US you could just offer to trade some meth for your bike back and they would bring the bike back just for the one last bag.
