Electric BMX ACTION? Where? How? (video thread)

Gee, the bike is great but...refer again to the opening post's video?
Can't we make an eBMX fly?

Who's fit enough to dare to break the bond of gravity?
(I put Ypedal on the spot, ha ha! Fly, or die, stuck to the goo)

Yeah i know, i have too much cash in this bike to dare get any air, it would likely survive a bit of jumping around but i have it setup for commuting, 72v 20ah of lithium gives a really long run time at 40 km/h but adds alot of weight, too much for off roading.

Still fun to zoom up and down the track however.
 "likely survive"? Likely? Like if I were to contemplate
jumping up and down. Would probably work if I don't wear my high heel stilleto drag racing shoes, ha ha!
I'll do better to go for pogo spring shoes and get air!

(ribbing a pal is all)

---------------

In truth, I would enjoy an eBMX even though I'd be incompetent to ride the thing aggressively.
Plus, I don't have enough cash in my cruiser bike to worry about bending or breaking anything.
But will it fly? I've got a pair of Rhino ramps, you know, for car oil changes.

Those ramps, spaced well apart on Hardie Road, perhaps I can take a
double jump! Yes, I will be a double dipstick :p if I do that and don't faw down go boom.

Lol.... Ekline309 has the best vid so far :D

Y-eah my Norco is not built for the track at the moment, i've been on that same track with my rear wheel X5 BMX at 48v 80 amps it snaps along pretty good.. the fear of CRASHING with that much lithium $$$$ ( 48v 10ah of PSI cells ) in my backpack kept me from getting too much air but i got both wheels off the ground a few times lol...

I promise a vid by the end of the season of me in the air on some EBike, one way or another.

*rubs his 2 stage RC drive with evil grin

You can have a lot of fun on the streets with a BMX they are tough very bikes, The thing is if it was going to be a powerfull electric bmx you would need a pro rider to get the best from it.

Sure you will, hopefully my bike will be done in May. It's a 20in with GM rear with a 24V 6ah lifepo4 (i know small, but the only batt that will fit, plus you don't really need long distance with BMX). I'll post pics as soon as I get the battery.

What flatland riders are doing these days is UNREAL, Steve Hamilton is sick too, my riding style is closer to his.

My standard BMX bike got stolen on Friday, which was all my dumbass fault. I was riding at the skatepark all day, then set my bike down and got in my car to use my phone. I decided to leave, and left it sitting next to my car  . I didn't even notice till the next day, and when I went back it was obviously gone.

At least I still have the electric bike I'm building. I've started riding it with just the hub-motor on it, and to my surprise, it's not bad at all!! Sure its heavier, but you can still manual, bunnyhop, 180, etc. just like normal. This made me realize there is definitely potential for the electric BMX market.
