Electricmoto blade build/upgrade

Found an issue with my scanner. SSR was dodgy. Finally it shorted completely. Just need to swap it. Dont know what caused it. Its rated for 2A and up to 200V, 20W combined. On activation contactor takes 300mA and engaged - 60mA. At 300mA its only 12.5W so within spec with overhead. must had been faulty

All assembled. Couple days for bms to arrive:

Do you have a diode across the contactor coil? Without one you'd get a really high voltage spike when it turns off.

Yes, I have 1N4004 diode across contactor coil, also I have MR752 on the key switch line. I was looking at the wrong datasheet of Mered relays. Looks like mine is only rated at 10W. So this might be it. They have a datasheet for 50W one but I cant source it to purchase it.

Made charger to be hanged on the wall:

Tested the range, its 42km off road/on road combined, with half kilometer at limited speed reserve. Good enough.

I have geared it down to 65kph. Acceleration is good. When you hit the throttle and it starts pulling, the hand twists from the force just to accelerate more:) Need new tire as this one halo contract wasn'the new and wore down pretty quick. I read that those were quick, so I need to find motorbike tire to go on 24 rim.
I have not weighted it yet, but i'd say it's 60-70kg

Awesome build agniusm. The covers you made look nice and also practical for keeping muck out. Your upgrades will make this so much nicer to ride than original.

a 19" motorcycle tyre should fit a 24" bike rim I use a Heidenau K46 tyre on my Hub motor Bike (19" rim) still kinda looks like a bycicle tyre but has more rubber.

Don`t know it it fits your riding type.

Yes, nissan leaf. If you looseall the casing and steel brackets inbetween the modules, you coud fit 6 modules in the same space and only one kg is gained. One module is 3.4kg or so.

So 6 modules slipped right in snug and comfy:)

Will redo balancing wireloom and main terminals. I will use 20mm round copper bar, one end threaded to suit the module and the other to suit fuse box, M8 and they will protrude the lid for easy inspection.

I wander whats the total mileage will be with aditional 500wh

Upgraded to 12S. Now i have a problem with the snow. Nowhere to test the bike, the wheel just slips at any speed:)

Nice scenery was today.

That is a nice looking build, well thought out, good job Agnuism. How much does it weigh?
