Eltek H1250A power rectifier communication?

Hi has anyone managed to communicate with the older Eltek H1250A power rectifiers?
Or even have any links or ideas about how to communicate with them to set voltage or current etc...?
They use a SPI interface unlike the newer CAN connected Flatpack2 HE ones and I cant find any specific SPI info at the moment but maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.
With a 42-56V @ 25A output in a 1RU format is still very compact and useful charger if I can get them to work as I've got a couple of them

I found a spec sheet,

The pinout is connector details listing SDA and SCL.


And the wording in the spec sheet suggesting there is a generic Eltek communication protocol

"The rectifiers communicate via the proprietary Eltek Valere Communication Protocol."

I am also looking for communication/programming info for the older Eltek Valere rectifier. My model is the H2500A2. I contacted Eltek support, the guy provided the two attached documents.

This is the product label on my supply.


My application is to use the supply to feed a solid state power amp for ham radio. A once and done permanent change to set the output voltage is what I'm looking for.

I acquired an Arduino Nano and got it up and running after downloading the correct USB driver from the Chinese chip MFG's website.

I am able to request data from the supply and it does reply. I was not able to find the S/N embedded in the response as noted in the thread discussing the CAN bus message protocol.

I will try to decode the response for the temp, current, output voltage, input voltage parameters.
I also have a second identical supply I will check out.

Below are a few of the responses that I logged from the supply. I left the A2, A1, A0 address line float which should provide an address of 0x7; I found that the supply responds to an address of 0x0F. The steady state response is 35 bytes. When changing from output on to output off, the response will sometimes be 41 bytes long.
