When searching for a battery charger I ran into the EMC-180, but can only find it through Chinese sources. Doesn't any US company stock it?
Some chargers I see say they are for LiPo, others say they are for SLA, but the EMC-180 says it can do both. Is there something different about how you would charge a LiPo vs. SLA such that some of the chargers are not made for both?
Due to cost reasons, I will likely buy SLA to start with and get LiPo later when I can afford it. Thought it would behoove me to find a charger I can use now for SLA and later for LiPo.
3X12V 22AH SLA batteries are $130 delivered to my door.
