Hi, recently I had built up a 12" ebike that is currently running at this specifications. Just wondering did I made a wrong component combinations for the bike.. as I was worrying it might have these issues like [ Under performance, Overheating, Underpower etc ]. I will list out what I have installed on. Please advise or guide me if you feel the component combinations is terribly wrong. 🙏
- Setup : 72v
- Controller : Nanjing 72680A fardriver controller
- Motor : QS 3000w WP model 5th Gen [ 6 phase wires & 1 Hall sensor wire ]

- Battery Pack : EVE 50PL ( 21700 ) 60ah [ 400A / 720A Peak ]

Looks fine. Wear a helmet.

Thanks for your post. I didn’t realize that QS made an ip66 rated motor, which got me to do more research. I found that the QS260 has an ip67 rating! Waterproof hub motor (well down to 1 meter at least). Now I need to think of a new project lol.

Nice project! :bigthumb:
That photo is bothering me. The background.... looks like an architectural rendering. Is that the real landscape?

Yes, indeed is a real background. It was taken in Singapore. 😊

Looking forward to your new project buddy!

How big is this moped? Hard to tell from the photo. Can you provide brand/ model or a link to the original machine before you built it up?

Its about 1.75 metres across. I built everything from ground up. Frame set you need the link brother?

Depending on the KV of the motor, top speed might be limited with such small wheels. Could limit it to legal speeds, though, which could save some money on tickets. 😁

The one thing I'd want here is a temperature sensor wire as well and a controller setup for thermal throttling. Guess it's fine if you never push the motor to the limits, though.
