Epic fail- tried to pull out a tree stump, dug it out in 45 min- pulse 144

I have dug out a lot of weed trees and bushes. I have had had good luck with cutting them off with about 5 feet of trunk left, then digging around the trunk and cutting the roots as I find them with a full size axe. Eventually you can wiggle the trunk more and more until it lays over enough to cut the lowest roots. The biggest one I dug out was about 8" dia, so not huge trees.

When I was young and inexperienced I pulled out a bush with my Camaro. That's when I learned that it was better to just dig them out, LOL.
