OK, planning & ordering parts for the next project , so need a little experienced advice ..
I intend to use a Turnigy 63-64 230KV , or HXT 63-74 200KV motor, and had planned to use the recommended Turnigy K-Force 100A ESC, ...
but , that seems to be long time out of stock, so i am wondering if either of these options has any issues ..
1) Hobbyking SS Series 90-100A ESC.

2) Mystery Pentium 100A ..

I am not going drag racing , just fun use and will probably not use more than 24v of Lipo, but i am probably missing something obvious here , as these are both < $30 , so i wonder if they will perform OK with these motors ??

If no good , any other suggestions ?

Not to many folks have posted sucess stories with the rc controllers in question. The most sucessful rc controllers are the Castle Creations.

I've had good luck with Hobby Wing and Align ESCs on my helicopters. Some of the lower priced ESCs have peak amp ratings that aren't much higher than their continuous amp ratings. This, imo, could possibly point to an "exaggerated" continuous amp rating claims.

I'd look carefully at the peak amp ratings (especially in regards to the claimed maximum time under peak amps). The excessive loads brought about by the weight of the bike, hills, and/or improper gear selection could really push the current draw to unsafe levels.
