I read a few things about the Faraday here. I do have one and unfortunately something broke. There are still parts to buy but hard to get as the batteries are not easy to ship and i am sure the batteries are around 2 years old and have not been used. Basically they are selling off their spare parts for a very high price in my opinion. Bit of shame. Since I do love my Faraday and would like to keep it I thought I am going to ask the experts here on the best retrofit option without altering the appearance of the bike too much. I know that Ampler and some others are placing the battery in the frame but chances of it fitting and working with a controller is probably not very easy. Then there are the Zehus option or Humancylce.cc wheels which are work with a Zehus motor but was wondering if somebody has ideas on how to turn my Faraday to electric again. Any thoughts are appreciated. Cheerio Dani

I had a customer last year with a faraday and right before they closed up shop he was lucky enough to get a replacement battery from them Under warranty. The battery pack itself is pretty hard to get a part and get the cells out. You can try to see if anybody is able to rebuild it but i think it would be a costly proposition

otherwise any 36 V pack should do, And it's really a matter of preference as far as how much you want to alter the styling. to me, having a custom-made triangle battery And some type of triangular case you could 3-D print would probably be the best bet In terms of cleanliness But a shark style battery or something on the downtube would definitely work
