I was chatting with him on the phone last night about his motor build and some ebike tech in general as we do on occasion and he was describing how awesome the Turnigy NanoTech packs he just built were and how little voltage sag it had. That of course made me hop on to Hobby Kings website to look at a few and see what was in stock and how much a small 30S2P pack would cost me... Poof, $810 gone and ten 6S 6AH 25-50C batteries are on their way to my door along with a BMSBattery/Ecitypower 1200W bulk charger.

Thanks a lot Jackson :p

Damn! That was evil, i will add him to my ignore list, also remove hobbyking from favourites. Thanks for the advice.

He forced me to buy a new bike, which needs new batteries, and new controller.

Grr.

Wait till you try the 45-90C packs... its a bad bad drug to get started.

Makes you think your voltage meter isn't working when you pin the throttle, see the current at a triple digit number, and see the voltage sag half a volt.

It's the closest thing I've ever seen to being a true "constant voltage" source.

HA!, just saw this thread and it scared the crap outta me until I saw who it was from. And Hehe, Nanos are amazing. :D   and by the way zombiess, the phone is still on the fritz, it wasn't anything personal.

You need a new phone Jackson.

Luke... I'm already spending way too much but man is it fun, can't wait to hook these up

  Made me look.

Yeah, you might say the forum is chock full of evil people. Luke &Dr Bass ( makes me want more battery) , Hyena( made me buy a better cam), Zombies ( makes me want better FS bikes), and at least a dozen more that make me want to spend a year learning to weld, buy a cnc machine etc.

Luke, why aren't you on the 150C packs yet?

Cameron

Evel.. Drugs

Luke.. You are probably the only one that will convince me to fall into the Nanotech drug department!
