If you look around there's been various threads and posts about speed records on ebikes, including drag strip times. ;)

Impressive, but LFP beat that time in the quarter mile.

I think we're at a point where "Fastest" is almost irrelevant. A bike that can do >100mph isn't going to work well at speeds you can actually ride. And it isn't that hard to build a 100mph bike now. Select a motor that can go that fast, stick it in a custom built frame with geometry that will be stable at 100mph, feed it 20,000 watts or so, and presto! A 100mph bike.
But that bike is going to suck lizard nipples at 12mph in a park. or 20mph around the neighborhood. And for less money than you spend building a >100mph bike, you could buy an electric motorcycle that can handle that speed much better.

Fastest has become boring now. Speed on the least amount of power is the next big challenge.

Or in my case, how much mass can I accelerate to 20MPH as quickly as possible. ;)

And how efficiently can I then cruise at that speed....

A rocket is not useful, but these are very useful 1) a 4x4 truck that can do 100mph(160kph) or 2) a fwd minivan or 3) awd 4 door car or 4) fwd 4 door car. I dont even think a 6'5" 300+ pound handsome dude like myself can even fit in any of the ultra sports cars. I tried to fit in a mustang and it was tight, so who knows about a lambo or ferrari. Then when theres a speed bump or a dip in the road what are you going to do? call a tow truck to get you over it

Im more impressed by a vehicle that can carry 2-4 passengers for 100miles , at legal speeds, on less than $1 worth of "fuel"
Or a vehicle that can transport its rider, door to door, 10 miles across a busy city in less time than any other means of transport....on "$0" of fuel !

The title should be changed to "Fastest Motorcycle" who wants to trust a bicycle when you are exceeding the limits of what it was engineered for.

Personally, I don't care for titles. Pushing the max like LFP, DH bikes, Tangent transmissions, DaVinci drives, power supplies, modular batteries or whatever has a long history of innovation and improvement.

Top speed compromise is not for everybody and at some point a bike becomes a motorcycle, but I'm interested in every EV component pushing the boundaries. We never know where the next ground breaking lesson comes from. Now bring on induction motors.

That would be more relevant if it was actually EV component being pushed to the boundaries. For an ebike, the weak link is the bicycle components. They can't take those speeds, and will come apart. Not if, but when. The limit of EV components has moved far beyond the total structural failure of the Bicycle as a platform for achieving speed.

EV componants are pushing for 400mph. the Venturi Buckeye Bullet 3 has hit 358mph (576kph) in testing, with 400 (643kph) as it's goal. The AMZ Grimsel can do 0-100kph in 1.5 seconds, making it one of the quickets accelerating cars around. The Dragster, "The Current Eliminator" can run the quarter mile in 7.9 seconds at 257kph. Or for 2 wheeled devices, the Lightning LS-218 motorcycle does 218 mph, and is a road legal production bike.

If you want to push the bounds of EV components, the Bicycle isn't even worth mentioning.
