Fazua Battery Mystery how do you get 36V from 17 Batteries

I'm the first owner of it
and I have the bike less than 6 month so it is a warranty issue
I created a support ticket on their website, with a video and pictures how the battery fails to charge and log file of their diagnose software.

it is really strange that the BMS has a STM32L4 chip on it, for just an BMS it is a very powerfull chip :D

I found the reason why my battery is not cahrging.
the 4A Fuse was blown, no idea why :)
1€ repair for a 400€ worth battery back :(

That’s awesome news !!! FAZUA would have replaced the entire battery for something so simple. What a waste

hi,
I have also a faulty fazua battery, I think it is the slightly newer version.
All Cells are fine and perfectly balanced, but the BMS refuses to charge.

Looking on the charge port, it allowes max 2A of charge current :)
and yeah I'm also wondering, there are only 2 wires, but the charger seems to have a 3rd pin, still don"t know what the 3rd pin is for.

here are some pics of my battery

May i ask how you opened that battery? I have similar issues, battery wont charge, stops arfer 30s and switches off. I´m waiting for a replacement and hopefully can keep the old one

I also have a battery that is not charging and will get a replacement by fazua.
Would be nice to have a backup battery with this simple fix.
Any advice on how to open the housing without destroying it?

Hi there,
I'm diging some info all over the web to try to fix my second Fazua 250wh battery.
I'm the second owner of the bike, so no warranty for me :(

I have a battery that seems to charge (red light on the charger, first green on the battery) but stop after 15min max.
Bike says battery at 0% but can read the SOH and number of cycle.
So I opened it, little corrosion near the 4 big wires on the bord, cleaned it.
After disconnected the big wires, Itested the balance connector, and got 4.1v between each cable.
It seems that all the batteries are still fine.
Maybe a problem with the BMS ?

What could I test / any leads or advices ?

Thanks for those still arround :)

Can someone post some tips on how to open these battery packs? I have a spare dead 250X that I'd like to recover. Is it possible to open it non-destructively?

Hi, did you find a way to open the battery? Can anyone provide information on how to proceed?

OK, sort of a battery mystery. I have a Fazua battery that looks like its completely flat, 2.2 volts on the output wires. On opening it up it has 2 groups of 6 Samsung 18650 cells and 1 group of 5 built in a cylinder type arrangement of the 3 groups put end for end. The BMS looks as though it is a 10S setup with 10 wires leading back to the PCB board. I was expecting 20 batteries in a 10S2P arrangement to output a standard 36 volt lithium setup. To confuse me even further it would seem there is only 1 interconnection between the groups with a +ve at one and a negative at the other.

Now without stripping it completely out, which is going to mean removing the interconnecting wires, how does this setup work, I can only think that the its in some form of 9S setup with 1 battery as a solo battery ( thats got to be tough on that 1 cell ) that is stepped up to 36 volts. But then the charger is a fairly standard looking 36 volt charger with a fancy Rosenberger plug with only the main 2 wires are connected back to the PCB board.

What I had thought to do was to individually recharge each cell and see if they could be recovered, I suspect this bike has sat for a very long time and the BMS has run the unit completely flat. The battery is fairly complex to strip out as individual units, any risk of putting a very low current through at say 30 volts to see if they all will pick up. Even if they only recover say 50% then it maybe worthwhile as a get me home battery.

Any help on this one would be appreciated.
Hi - a bit late coming to this thread, but hopefully this will help others searching for help with the Fazua 250x batteries.

Just to solve the heated discussion earlier on the battery cell layout, I can confirm it's 10S2P, with 2 blocks of 7 cells on the perimeter with one in the middle, and a separate block of 4 cells to make a total of 20 as expected

And for anyone struggling with opening the case of the battery, it's dead easy when you see how :D
