Today i had an incredible chance to test drive all these cars in the Circuit Gille Villneuve in Montreal. !!!
Watt an amazing day !!

That was during a special day organized to promote the EV in Quebec region. I had a VIP access 8)

I already tried the Tesla and this is something incredible... But what impressed me today was certainly trying the Volt, the Fisker and the LiTo E-motorcycle !! WOW

FIrst off, the Fisker is about the same low end acceleration of the Volt !!! no more !! .. The volt is already great acceleration as well. What people remarked about the fisker is the little fake engine sound made by the speakers in the bumpers... this is strange... and not realsitic.. but at least is advice his presence to people around it...

I also had the chance to try the LITo 50 000$ E-motorcycle !!.. the beautifull creation was shown in Monaco show where the Prince Albert tried it. 8) That motorcycle is a high end luxuous product developped and produced in Quebec by a group of passionated engineers. The Look is fabulous and the power is impressive!.. It use a CVT transmission.. I was skeptic about it but had to change my mind once i tried it!.. It work really well !!!

Lito is interesting. Belt-drive from motor to CVT transmission.

Im an autotmotive tech, and last spring towards the end of my 3rd year, Ford came up here to NAIT.
They had a display setup showing all the things they were doin to help the environment etc etc etc.

They had several of thier "Enviromentaly friendly vehicles" most of which were like meh.

But the big atttention getter was the electric focus. everyone wanted to drive that one.
I did get to drive the electric focus, just a few blocks around the city, and gotta say, i was most deffinately impressed! Having never driven an electric vehicle before, I was purely amazed with it.

If it wasnt do to the impracticality of the range available, Id be all up for one. I couldnt even make the trip to pick up my kid every second weekend, heck theres barely any other towns close enough to make a round trip. It isnt even worth it just to run around town, as most of my shoppin is dopne at my work, or on the route home from work, which is only about 2kms, maybe 3 max. Which is why Im here to learn to build an electric bike for that task, (And maybe some electric big wheel trikes n bikes for the kids.. they're gona outgrow that power wheels jeep one day!)

I like the idea of integrating a comet/snowmobile/automatic atv type clutch, its something I'd thought of before, just not all that seriously...

one thign I was wondering, is how the other cars compare to the focus, as its the only one I've driven.. :D
