FOCUS Jarifa offroad speed limit

Hi guys i am new here can anyone give me a litle help??
I am just about to buy the focus jarifa offroad 2012 but i read in someplaces the maximum speed is 25 Km h or 32 km h. I don't have the correct information.
Does anyone if it's possible to unlock the speed limit??
The brushless motor is a bionx 250 watt. I ve read that is possible to unlock the bionx speed limit. Does it works for all the bionx motors??

There are a lot of posts about various aspects of the BionX. You might want to do a search on that term, and see if anyone has already posted the information you're after.

To the best of my knowledge, the new Bionix can't be unlocked. They updated that controller a few years back and I don't believe the new one can be reprogrammed.

That's realistically about as fast as it will go. 250w is not a lot of power. The 500w peak it does is not a lot of power either.

Proprietary and expensive systems suck.

If i wan't more speed i defnitly should go for the new FOCUS jarifa speed 2012, that reaches 45 km/h.
Because i am from brazil and this bike cost lot more than the jarifa offroad. Tha's why i am wondering to buy the offroad instead off the speed version.
And also the offroad version is more soft to ride in bumpie roads.
So if i can unlock the focus jarifa offroad i would prefer to buy the focus jarifa offroad.

TO anyone interested i just posted a review of the Focus Jarifa 2011 speed. It uses a panasonic 300 watt mid drive and i was fairly impressed with its range and even performance.

I found it to be a much better bike than the Stromer which sales in the same price range. The jarifa's 300 watt mid drive system was comprable in performance to the stromer's 600 watt hub motor, and the Jarifa's efficiency blew the Stromer out of the water.
