My friend Kevin and I are crossing British Columbia looking for races. Were travelling in my 1966 Ford Econoline Van that I have converted to electric using Nissan Leaf parts. In total we will travel over 2000km in the Econoleaf.

the micra went to a couple race car guys in Kamloops BC, be interesting to see if it shows up racing this guy, they hauled it away on an old tent trailer trailer frame with a couple 2x6's for the tires to sit on and some 2 inch ratchet straps

Canada raised the price of cigarettes to almost $20/pack
i think youll see alot more smokers going electric

Nice van, that is really cool! Did you mention that the leaf motor spline is same or close to a fiat clutch spline? Which fiat clutch or transmission by chance?

I'm dreaming to convert a Fiat Ducato / Ram Promaster van that I just got back on the road after salvage rebuild. It's a diesel with the automated manual, which I like for the trans & halfshafts already set up, with probably 2nd gear as good overall ratio. If I need more ratio for steep grade, there's first gear. I have a salvage 62kwh Leaf as the donor. Since the diesel happens to still run, I'm doing the camper conversion on the van first, until the diesel becomes trouble.

Thanks!
