Hey yall, lol:

So, I'm wondering. What are some good fat-tired Frames to buy?

What are the best Hubs, accessible to most? I want to have the capability to go, like 60 MPH on flat land, and maybe like 40 MPH up a steep hill.

And, what are some, good Motorcycle Rims, to get?

Frame:

I am thinking of this frame, right here. It looks like it has all kinds of room for a big battery, controller.

Hub Motor:

I've been doing some snooping around, and I found this Hub Motor at 10,000 Watts, 72 Volts. So that would be, what, ~138 Amps Continuous?
Is there a way to make this safer; I wonder. I really don't like messing around, with that many volts. I want decent torque for going uphill, and I want to be able to go fast, for me, lol. Sixty MPH is fine, lol.

Rim:

I am looking for some good rims, to match that Frame.

Batteries:
20(S) X 5(P) = 100 Total Batteries

That would be 72Volts at 22.5 Ah at 250 A Continuous Discharge, limited, of course, by a BMS.
That would be about $1,000 before taxes.

If anyone has any ideas about this; I'd appreciate hearing them. Even if I suck, for having these ideas, lol. I just can't see, paying 4 Grand, to get something that lacks luster.

Thanks Guys!

A rolling motorcycle "truck" from a motocross motorcycle. For less than $1k, you can get frame, swingarm, suspension with all bearings, a pair of wheels (often with tyres on them), brakes, a handlebar and a seat. All it needs is a motor and a battery.

All of those components are going to be of good quality and durable enough for 40-60mph use you envision. You can put 90mm wide tyre up front and 110mm tyre at the back, which are around 3.5-4.0 in "fatbike sizing"

Instead of a hub motor, buy an inexpensive mid drive motor and use a chain drive - this will give you enough torque for hills and will allow to easily choose the appropriate gearing to balance top speed and hill climbing ability.

Once you have the frame, then decide on the cell count, as adding a couple, if possible, more will mean more range and less stress on the cells.

Alright. I apricate the information! I'll consider the mid drive. Awesome
