Normally I wouldn't bother to even read, much lest post, a Faux News article, especially not an "opinion" article. But this shit: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2009/07/21/heritage-house-law/ is scary. And not to feed the trolls, but it sounds verrrrry reminiscent of what some folks have said about the shipping of Lithium batts lately.

Thoughts?

Jeez, just another tidbit to file away in the list of reasons to never go back. Thanks for the posting, because I'm sure that at some point I have violated a fish or wildlife law of some nation on the planet.

Yeah.. just one step closer to the tipping point. It's happening so fast and with so many things (federally required swine flu vaccinations anyone) that it's only a matter of time before the whole thing implodes on them. At least it better or I'll be seeing you in CR there Mr. John.

pwbset,

The more the merrier. Don't come for a visit unless you're prepared for the real idea of moving. Once you consider the aging population like Japan had/has without their level of discipline and control as part of the culture, there's a great likelihood of a long slide downward into oblivion like has happened to all dominant civilizations in history. Glad I grew up there during the peak, but at this point in time and for the foreseeable future I'm glad I'm not.
