I'm trying to find a bike to convert, and want to put in a bottle battery like this: http://em3ev.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=35&product_id=161

However, I need a small-size frame, and most full-suspension designs have the shock cut into the main triangle too much.

Something like the specialized epic, but without the brain shock.

Any ideas?

It's a dilemma. One of the reasons I finally just built what I wanted. My longtail is made with a front frame that is even bigger in square inches than normal. But by welding two bikes into one, I still have full suspension on my longtail.

it's a pretty good bike, decent components for ebike conversion, and good price plus a lot of frame space

Yep that's a great choice. But it may still not be quite big enough, depending on the exact size and shape of the stock battery. It's why lots of us end up building our own battery box, and stuffing it with what will fit. We can cram in more that way than any stock kit box holds.

In the small size frame, that triangle gets tiny.

One of these on my local CL for $350. - Trying to contact the dude... Fingers crossed. [edit 4.4.14 - picked it up tonight. :D ]
