Golden motor 108 compatibility?

Installed a 1.5KW Golden motor (model 108) https://goldenmotor.bike/product/1500w-bldc-motor/in a home built 48V rig.
tried 2 Votols (EM50S & EM150), and a Kelly KLS 7218N, but can not make these combos sync.
free spinning on a jack, works great, but once under load, the motor is cogging & stuttering, and already cost me 2 controllers (burnt them). battery is in great condition, capable of over 100 amps easily.

any ideas which controller fit this motor?

How much gear reduction?

GM used to sale their own in house motor controller.
4-8 Newton Meters .... that is not very much torque.

Also what tire size are you using?

Rear 102t sprocket
24' tire
Upgraded an Oset 24 to brushless

Sorry to revive this old post, I just wanted to chime in with some input. I was also having some issues with this motor as well, such as cogging and strange clicking. I had two controllers, one worked fine, the other had the cogging and was trying to draw a 160amps from a standstill and was causing the controller to shut off. I was able to get it working after many hours by manually inputting the hall sensor data in the table, instantly fixed the issue, and drew power normally just like the other.
